To mark their 125th anniversary, Audemars Piguet created a series of 125 timepieces, each unique; the Star Wheel calendar pocket watch was produced in a limited series of 28 watches, to the best of our knowledge 25 in platinum and 3 in rose gold, as the present piece. A twin specimen, featuring the case serial number only 2 digits apart from this specific watch, has been sold in 2003 at Antiquorum for 86,000 Swiss francs.
