Specialist Notes
Notes: Richard Mille created his first watch, the RM001 Tourbillon, in 2000. Since then, the brand has quickly established a niche for itself thanks to the avant-garde design and cutting edge materials and technical innovations. Introduced in 2004, the RM005 was the first automatic model from Richard Mille, as well as its first non-complicated timepiece. It was available in rose or white gold, platinum and titanium. The model is powered by the caliber 005, a self-winding movement that was the first to use a variable geometry rotor: this innovation allows the movement winding mechanism to be personalised to the owner’s lifestyle, to prevent overwinding and ensure better performances.
