Elegant shakudo set. The two elements worked en suite with the Sangokushi theme (Romance of the Three Kingdoms). The fuchi with an effigy of a copper horse in relief with browned saddle and golden harness, the back simply carved on the surface with an effigy of a burning building. The kashira with a finely crafted effigy of a warrior in relief with a copper-coloured face and small gilded elements. Kept in a kiri-box.
