Made of glass (one of the chalices with a vein) worked with small pyramids in relief, beautiful gilded-silver mounts finely carved with floral motifs (thistles, clovers and roses), the upper parts with the writing "COMPOSED OF THE LACE WORN BY MAJOR-GENERAL CONYERS TOWER , C.B. DURING 34 YEARS SERVICE IN THE ARMY. 1878.", several marks on all three mounts, and marked "514", "515" and "X" at the base.
