Momoyama period (late 16th century) Kabuto-bachi. With 32 black lacquered iron Ken Suji Kabuto. Large hachimanza at the back. Mabizashi and fukigaeshi externally covered with two distinct types of Egawa. Family coat of arms “Aoyama-Zeni” on the fukigaeshi. Shikoro composed of five broad Itamono plates in black lacquer. Accompanied by an unusual Maedate Tetsuki-Nari in the shape of a “U” and a Ryugo. Nimaido (two-piece cuirass) in black lacquered iron with eight Kiritsuke-kozane plates on the front. Iroiro Odoshi multicolored Kebiki-style lacing in green, burgundy, ivory, vermilion, and viridian. Gattari and Ukezutsu at the rear. Kusazuri composed of five Kiritsuke-kozane plates with matching lacing to the dō. Accompanied by sode, kote, haidate, and suneate. Display mannequin not included. Comes with a Gusoku-bitsu armor storage box.
