Straight, double-edged blade, one third of the blade featuring four pairs of pierced windows and longitudinal fullers, the fretworked segments forming a rhombus in the centre and triangular elements on the sides (except for the last pair, without rhombuses); fullers with the inscriptions "JUAN MARTINEZ EN TOLEDO" on one side and "IN TE DOMINE SPERAVI" on the opposite side; at the base of this pattern there is an circle with a cross; then a short hexagonal segment, and finally a diamond-shaped segment. Iron hilt with two fretworked valves, engraved and carved with floral motifs; the prominent borders are decorated in two different ways, those in a "V" shape are worked as spirals, the others with a double fuller that follows the curvature, and with central parts provided with oblique fullers. S-shaped quillon with heads crowned with buttons, the two connections to the centre of the crossguard worked as a vase; two arms of the hilt. The centre of the crossguard is carved to depict the head of a snorting bull, whose horns are formed by the arms of the quillons. The arched guard can be divided into two halves, the lower one is faceted, then at the girdle there is a circular element with oblique fullers, connecting the other element of the guard worked as a spiral. Fig-shaped pommel with fullers and provided with a shaped button. Grip covered with iron wire binding and Moor's heads.
