Spearhead with square tip, crescent-shaped axe with festooned back and lugs, the latter with single open-works. Straight rear fluke pointing downwards, with triple open-works at the base. The surfaces are hand-engraved with racemes, flowers and trophies of armours and shields. The straps are covered by velvet held by studs. Two fabric tassels, not of recent manufacture. Wooden shaft (19th century?) with pointed iron shoe.
