Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller for almost its entire length, finely engraved with racemes and trophies at the forte, featuring the signature “Mendozza” within an elliptical cartouche. Bronze hilt with remains of gilding. Wide guard provided with four additional, counter-curved loop-guards with floral decorated heads. Typical “dolphin” cap with large, circular button and scales on the back. Brown horn grip with checkered sectors (signs of use). With an iron scabbard with two lugs, missing the mouthpiece. Rare.
