Straight blade of triangular section and hollow sides featuring small engraved friezes extending almost to the tip. Decorated with flowers, vases, trophies and two unidentified figures in classical dress. Silver-coloured metal hilt with yellow hues (probably vermeil). Elliptical butt-plate engraved with small frames and beautifully decorated with diamond globes and raised frames and roped on the hollow side. The quillon also has raised roped frames surrounding diamond metal beads. One-piece grip worked en suite. The pommel is urn-shaped with the same decoration. No marks are visible. In typical English style. Most likely British or Neapolitan.
