An 8‘ octagonal, rifled, 44 cal. barrel (the bore needs cleaning, visible rifling), provided with foresight, featuring on the back the standard three-line marking with the words "NEW MODEL", with marks "a" and "J". Six shot cylinder marked “W”. Frame marked "P". Working mechanism. Brass trigger guard. Serial number "140xxx". It may keep light traces of blueing in some places. Wooden grip scales, one possibly with remains of military inspection stamp.
