Sturdy, straight blade of triangular section and solid sides, on a brass-inlaid mark(some parts damaged by rust); cylindrical ebony grip, thickened at the lower base, sculpted like the wire binding; beautiful hexagonal silver pommel with chain-like border, a flower in the centre and floral motifs engraved on each of the six sections; hexagonal silver ring nut decorated with bands. Complete with its wooden scabbard covered with leather (missing parts) with silver mounts, the cap (some defects) is engraved en suite with the pommel and has a stirrup loop; the chape is shaped as a truncated cone and faceted with a baluster-shaped base; with remains of red velvet at the scbbard mouth and the inside the scabbard. On one side there is a compartment for a knife, now missing.
