Straight blade of triangular section with hollow sides, featuring at the forte remains of bluing and small gilded floral and trophy engravings. On one side the initials “ISB” at the base, which is fully gilded. Probably silver hilt. Butt-plate with two valves decorated on the hollow side with typical faceted bead decoration arranged in frames surrounding lozenges. Centre of crossguard, guard, grip and pommel all worked en suite. Without scabbard. In typical late 18th century English taste.
