Horse helmet with truncated visor, with skull made of two halves joined at the comb. The comb, of medium height, has a border engraved with roped notch decorations. Ribbed in the middle, with a strong upward-pointing cusp, provided with a knob. Ventail with symmetrical air holes on both sides. Beavor with snap button to release the ventail. The closure between the beavor and the skull is provided by snap pins placed on the nape-guard and the neck guard, each consisting of two blades. The lower edge is swallow-tailed and with a hemmed border with notch decorations. Gorget with smooth plate. Three neck plates on both the front and back side. The neckline has a roped cord with very dense and closely spaced coils. The chestplate is beautifully shaped with a pronounced tapul, the upper part with engraved chevron-pattern decoration bordered by a raised cord with swallowtailed gussets. The pauldron small-plates are fixed with rivets. Beautiful thick cords at both the neckline and the pauldron small-plates, also roped. Brass rivets. Hammer marks on the back. The backplate featuring a decoration en suite (old repair on one side). The protruding border is strongly wavy, with swallowtailed margin and a hemmed and roped border. The three-plated loin-guard is worked en suite the chestplate. The seven-plated tassets have similar decoration but with small differences. Brass and iron rivets. Well-made pauldrons with swallow-tailed strips featuring a similar design to the breastplate. Complete brassards. All elements featuring tightly coiled cords. Articulated gauntlets with cuffs decorated like the breastplate. The thumbs and two fingers (index and middle) of one gauntlet are missing. The mannequin is not included.
