Solid, double-edged, straight blade, strongly grooved and pierced in the centre, the tang with triple groove, the tip slightly enlarged and ribbed in the middle. Iron hilt with quillons curved towards the blade, carved with oblique grooves and with palmettes at the ends; side ring decorated en suite. Pommel richly grooved. Wooden grip covered with wire binding and with brass wire Moor's heads.
