length 93 cm.
Thick, curved, single-and-false-edged blade (areas damaged by rust), wide central fuller on both sides, remains of two marks at the base on the right side, crowned "B" (F. Bisch, first class inspector from 1783 to 1791) and crowned "D" (De Cabannes, inspector from July 1791 to August 1792); a little further forward of the marks, "Fran.se"; on the opposite side marked "Rep.e"; manufacturer's mark "KLINGENTHAL" on the back; tang. Brass hilt, elliptical langets, guard with a spherical end and marks “K” and "J"; "B" and "D" crowned on the guard. Wooden grip covered with dark leather without wire binding. Long brass cap with angled pommel. Wooden scabbard covered with leather (from a later period) with iron chape and cap (signs of use and time); brass upper mount and eyelets; two iron suspension rings.
