Perfectly made, with rifled, cylindrical barrel, with foresight, marked on the side "US 1847". Six-shot cylinder engraved as in originals, with scene of fighting between Texas Rangers and natives. Cylinder and barrel with remains of original bluing (some oxidation). Cartridge rammer and frame with casehardening. Brass trigger guard. Mechanism in working order. Kept in a wooden case probably not pertinent, lined inside with red velvet.
