Cursive marking on the back: "Patent Arms Mg Co Paterson NJ Colts Pt." Five-shot cylinder with rings, no engravings. Matching serial numbers on barrel, cylinder, frame, and grip. Working mechanism but needs revision. Foldaway trigger. Grip with wooden grips. Housed in a much later wooden case. Accompanied by a Paterson-style powder flask, also of later manufacture. An interesting example.
