Smoothbore barrels, with octagonal breech, then with a faceted segment, ring at the girdle and finally round. Both with gilded foresights. Featuring in the first third a beautiful canopy decoration, engraved and gold inlaid, surmounting the signature "Всеволод" (Vsevolod), the breech with gold frames, as well as the covering of the vent. Around the foresights a garland of leaves crossed by a longitudinal decoration on which two sabres cross. 18, 4 mm cal at the nozzle. Bore in good condition, with slight patina of oxidation. On the underside of the barrel, a thick rib in typical English style. The tangs in a separate element, with engraved leaf frame and trophies of cylinders and guns gold inlaid, on the surface of one cylinder there is a fleur-de-lis. English-style locks with thin, gold inlaid cock with a globe, leaves and other small decorations. The lock plate with trophies of arms, shields and again a depiction of a globe. The pan covered in gold inside. The batterie with anti-friction wheel at the spring. Well working mechanism. Walnut, half stocks with checkered grip. Trigger guards engraved with trophies, frames and other elements. Flat butt-plates with engraved leaves and rosettes. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod. In some areas, slight remains of antique finishing on the iron parts. The mouthpiece of the stocks made of the brown horn. Kept in a wooden carrying case provided with various accessories such as a flask, screwdrivers, cleaning ramrod and more. Provided with a key and complete with a curious system of concealed screws, which can be screwed by using a special key to fix the case to a stand. Rare and of great quality, made in Russia imitating the style, decorative elements, and proportions typical of the great English gun-making manufactories of the period.
