A wakizashi signed Mimasaka no kuni ju Ouchibito Toshinori with beautiful koshirae
length 50.5 cm.
Mino tradition. Nagasa (34.2 cm), hamon: gunome, midare, notare and hada: itame, masame; boshi with small chip, double hi, and habaki in shakudo. Nakago mei Mimasaka no kuni ju Ouchibito Toshinori with a mekugi-ana. Koshirae with small iron tsuba decorated with silver flowers, iron fuchi with silver hare and star constellation, iron kashira with bird on a gold background, beautiful horse-shaped menuki made of gold metal. Saya covered with fish skin and provided with ko-gatana mei with kozuka depicting a farmer under a flowering tree with gold and silver inlays. Kogai decorated with waves and gold dots. Late Edo period.
