A decorative shield in 16th Century style
dimensions 55 x 97 cm.
In lamina di ferro, a forma di mandorla; recante al centro un mascherone in bassorilievo con capelli interesecati con serpenti (forse il volto di Medusa), in basso il sole con raggi ed intorno decorazioni floreali, margine ribassato con bordo tondeggiante. Il retro foderato in lino con resti di velluto rosso, il bordo con una banda in canutiglia. Nella parte superiore un fornimento orizzontale in lamina di ferro (attaccato su un solo lato), la controparte inferiore mancante.
