A rare Orisha Oko ritual staff of the Yoruba people, with scabbard
height 148 cm.
Made of iron and pointed at the top, then with a wooden grip wrapped in an iron twin lead. Then a segment with bare wood, adorned with small nails. The rest entirely of iron, flat, with two tapered segments. The surface with remains of engraved geometric motifs. Together with the rare scabbard made of leather and fabric (signs of use and time), decorated on the front surface with polychrome geomatric motifs made of glass beads sewn together. On both sides three hanging triangular friezes, also worked with glass beads on the front surface. Near the mouthpiece a sculpted wooden face and a rosette of red glass beads.
