A very scarce naval shamshir
length 90.5 cm.
Curved, single-edged, damask blade (areas with oxidation, almost easily removable), with central fuller and with dorsal groove. Damask hilt (mostly visible in the smooth parts); straight quillons ending in buds, langets decorated with floral motifs at the ends and on the right side, with a large anchor. Horn grip scales with an angled pommel, the central band decorated with floral motifs and a mark. Leather-covered wooden scabbard, typical central metal wire band; beautiful damask mounts, anchor theme and floral motifs repeated at the cap, on the bands and at the tip; interesting rope-like suspension rings; the damask is clearly visible in the smooth elements of the mounts.
