Medal for military valour, of gilded bronze. On the obverse, armoured bust (right) with plumed helmet and cloak, on the border inscription "FERDINANDVS IV UTRIUSQ. SICILIAE REX P.F.A.". Opus "Morghen". On the reverse standing soldier, facing right, holding shield and lance and crowned by a female figure; on the border "MILITIBUS BENE DE REGE AC PATRIA MERITIS". At the top small loop with ribbon. 21 g. Rare.
