Round, rifled, 44 cal. barrel (slight pitting, clearly visible rifling), with address and patent marks in two lines with "KING'S IMPROVEMENT", provided with folding rear sight and foresight. Brass frame; serial number "127xxx" on the lower tang, under the lever. Wooden butt with brass mounts. Sling swivel. Butt plate with a small opening that contains a three-piece ramrod. Remains of finishing on the barrel, on the bolt and on the base of the trigger. Rare and in good condition.
