Beautiful, three-stage, octagonal, faceted and round, 15.8 mm cal. barrel richly decorated and with rings at the second girdle. At the breech a carving depicting a lady on a granulated background, immediately followed by the inscription "COMINAZ", engraved leaves and a profile figure at the girdle. On the barrel three beautiful mounts worked in silver-coloured metal: in the first, rear sight with an ambiguous base decorated in rocaille and surmounted by a crown; in the second, foresight with dove in high relief and base en suite; the third borders the nozzle, like a moulded muzzle, with a floral decoration. Flintlock with flat lock plate engraved with floral motifs, like the cock, this one also with wolf's head, also the batterie is engraved and shaped. Working mechanism. Master mark "GBC". Richly carved wooden stock (restored woodworm holes). Beautiful patterns of racemes changing into animals or grotesque characters, both on the fore-end and butt stock, other small friezes carved in various places. Iron mounts. Trigger guard with a nobleman's profile in relief, as well as the back of the butt and the counterplate, this one also with grotesque fretwork. The beautifully crafted back shield with putti holding a female portrait, the whole surmounted by the head of a winged putto. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod.
