Iron hemispherical cap, at the top a cusp of rhomboid section on a knot and base shaped as a truncated cone, sliding nose defence with two lateral plume-holders; the surface richly engraved, pierced and partially decorated with floral motifs, the border with cartouches featuring Arabic inscriptions and remains of silver-plating, complete with fringed cap (missing parts) consisting of small simple closed rings and banded decorations with brass rings. Inside remains of the original lining.
