Rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal. barrel, with foresight; smooth, five-shot cylinder with outlined borders and marks of the test bench, frame marked "REEVES'S PATENT" and "No. 1898". Cartridge rammer with missing pin. Checkered, wooden butt. Browned and engraved with floral motifs. Mechanism needs revision. In patina, needs cleaning. Kept in its wooden case lined with green velvet, complete with all tools and key, the compartment lid is missing.
