Heavy, smoothbore, short, octagonal, 23 mm cal. barrel, brass-inlaid ends decorated with floral motifs, nozzle with moulded muzzle engraved with floral motifs. Engraved tang. Miquelet lock signed "Moostocino" (?; not clearly legible) and dated "1819"; lock plate engraved with floral motifs; working mechanism needs revision. Wooden, full stock with damage and half cock breakage restored at the time of use; checkered hand support and grip. Beautiful brass mounts engraved with floral motifs; perforated counterplate. Missing ramrod.
