Finely engraved tang. Forward spring lock signed "JN MANTON & SONS PATENT", lock plates engraved with fine floral motifs and mystic animals. Wooden half stock with checkered grip. Iron mounts decorated en suite. Silver shield on the back. Brass-tipped, wooden ramrod and brass and iron cartridge extractors. Complete with its wooden box lined with dark blue cloth, Manton label, tools and accessories. Provided with key.
