Skull lined with black seal fur (missing parts), typical brass crest fretworked and gilded like the eagle in the round surmounted with a silver cross on the chest; tricolour cockade of silk and silver threads; all mounts are silver-plated including the scaled chin-straps and the frontal radial pattern (with silversmith's mark), gilded star featuring the monogram of King Victor Emmanuel III. Interior with dark morocco leather visors like the sweat-band, red silk caps. Complete with beautiful original plume. Inside its beautiful wooden travel case covered with black Moroccan leather, slightly faded velvet inside.
