Information
Paris, à l'Imprimerie Impériale, 1864. 8°, 213 x 135 mm. Portrait drawn and engraved by Annedouche, a portrait vignette engraved by Rebel based on a drawing by Eisen, a frieze, three titular plates, and 14 headpieces, all etched. The portrait vignette, the frieze, and the three titular illustrations are from the 1865 Lyon edition, printed by Louis Perrin, which also includes a second printing of the vignettes from our edition. This work was printed in an edition of 400 copies, this one being no. 138; the original paperback covers are missing; the modern cardboard binding is decorated with floral elements.
