Specialist Notes
Born in Perugia (1445-1512), he spent most of his life in Milan with the role of "secretary of the duke and of the entire duchy over ecclesiastical benefits, general icononome"; the Milanese gave him the task of drafting this solemn oration on the occasion of the victory over the French in 1509 at Ghiaradadda .
