Woodcut vignette on the title page, frontispiece portrait of the author engraved by Giroux with protective vellum, several folded plates, colored illustrations in the text, scattered foxing, beautiful red morocco bindings, gilt title and decorations on the spine, volumes in a hardback slipcase. Minor defects.
