Specialist Notes

This rare model of wall lamp called Lancia for the spear-shaped form of the brass structure, was selected by Gio Ponti in 1939 to be part of the project of Palazzo Liviano, head office of the University of Padua, Italy.
Manufactured by Fontana Arte in 1938, the Lancia wall lamp shows Pietro Chiesa’s talent for attention to detail, becoming a timeless icon of elegance and innovation.
