Specialist Notes

This item was executed by the master blower Alfredo Barbini in his furnace in the 70s, because he collaborated with Napoleone Martinuzzi for much of his life.It is possible that this and several other items, were commissioned by Pauly & C. in the 70s. Made in very limited numbers, these items were certainly a tribute to Martinuzzi and perhaps also the result of their direct collaboration, that's why many of them are signed Barbini e Martinuzzi, although this may have been simply Barbini’s way of paying homage to the source of his inspiration.
