Specialist Notes

The console was designed by Gio Ponti in 1939, for the furniture of the Vetrocoke company offices of Palazzo Ferrania, in Milan.
The structure is entirely made of Vitrex glass, held together by metal brackets, and supported on wooden base.
There are several variants of the same design in terms of size and details, such as wooden foot bars or wooden side drawers.
