Specialist Notes
This item clearly represents the creative genius of Gaetano Pesce and was made in the first years after his move to New York, with the creation of Fish Design. The double processing of the silicone, subsequently applied on the wooden panel, highlights the dark anthropomorphic figure with a different texture from the red outline. Signed and dated, the item precedes many other tapestries and similar artworks, which were then made by Gaetano Pesce in his long career as designer, artist and innovator.
