Specialist Notes
The mirror is different from the model listed in the blue catalog of Venini for the frame's creating technique. Presented in the 'a treccia' version, this item was made with the Murano technique of smooth 'bullicante' glass with gold leaf decoration typical of the style of Carlo Scarpa, who realized with the same technique cups, vases, small bottles etc., during his artistic direction of the Venini furnace.
