Original comic art made by Crepax for page 13 of "La forza di gravitazione," the adventure of the sensual Valentina, first published in Linus supplement n. 33 in December 1967 and subsequently in the volume "Valentina con gli stivali" by Milano Libri in 1970. "La forza di gravitazione" is one of Crepax's most dreamlike stories: after the adventure in I Sotterranei, Valentina is in a state of shock and is admitted to a psychiatric clinic in Maryland, where she must confront a robotic entity tasked with eliminating earthlings by replacing them. Halfway between Asimov and the film "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," the science fiction adventure takes place in the clinic, somewhere between dream and reality. Signed and dated.
