Preliminary study made by Magnus for the title page of "The Wild Girl," a story from the Enchanted Women series, first published in Comic Art magazine n. 73 in 1990. This work was partially published in the volume "Enchanted Women" on pages 42 and 43 by Alessandro Editore in 2006. Unanimously recognized as the Bolognese master's absolute masterpiece, Enchanted Women collects seven short stories focusing on the theme of femininity and inspired by a volume of late 17th-century Chinese tales. Magnus manages to infuse these panels with all his passion for Eastern culture and philosophy, his love and admiration for nature and for "his" women, as perfect and unattainable as they are seductive and ghostly when needed. A museum-worthy work that gives us the opportunity to appreciate like never before the love and effort Magnus poured into every single panel of his Femmine. Slight creases at the margins.
