Original comic art made by Pichard for "Le cirque des femmes," published on page 5 of the sixth episode of the "Paulette" saga in the French magazine Charlie Mensuel in 1975. It was later published in Italy in the volume "Paulette va al circo" (Paulette goes to the circus) by Edizioni L'Isola Trovata in 1979. Created in collaboration with Georges Wolinski (writer), Paulette recounts the adventures of a young and extremely wealthy heiress who experiences daring adventures while trying to get rid of her immense fortune, which she finds disgusting, as a staunch and avowed communist. Through the adventures of Paulette and her friend Giuseppe, an old tramp transformed into a beautiful young woman by a magical mole, the comic reviews the 1970s and some of its key events, such as youth protests, the Vietnam War, the French political situation, workers' struggles, and the fall of the hippie utopia of life in a commune. On the back there is a drawing with a dedication by Georges Wolinski made in 2010. Small loss in the upper left corner.
