The 991 R is the special version, built on the basis of the fifth 911 series, in 991 numbered units, a hymn to the "old school", with a six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine, six-speed manual gearbox and a hymn to lightness. Sold out, in fact before being presented, it saw price raises and raises up to prohibitive figures; now it has returned to more realistic and investment-worthy odds.
