The 991 R is the special version, built on the basis of the fifth 911 series, in 991 numbered units, a hymn to the "old school", with a six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine, six-speed manual gearbox and a hymn to lightness. Sold out, in fact before being presented, it saw price raises and raises up to prohibitive figures; now it has returned to more realistic and investment-worthy odds. The example up for auction is new, perfect with papers ready for first registration. Dated September 12, 2016, it only covered 361km. It is copy 183/991.
