Grazia Deledda (Nuoro, 27 September 1871 – Rome, 15 August 1936) was a great Italian writer, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1926. She is remembered as the second woman, after the Swedish Selma Lagerlöf, to receive the prize in this discipline and the only Italian woman.
