Lucca, Busdrago, 1564 [but actually Lucca, Bongi, 1856]. In 4°. 8 cc. Mark depicting a rampant dragon with a human head and hood on the title page. COPY MADE OF BLUE PAPER, publisher's full parchment binding with a reproduction of the mark on the title page on the covers.
Specialist Notes
Extremely rare 19th-century edition , based on the 16th-century one, printed in Lucca in the mid-19th century by Bonghi in just 24 copies, "two of which are on blue-colored paper." This is one of the two known.
