Treviso, Fabrizio Zanetti, 1604. In 4°. Printer's device with motto engraved on wood on both title pages, typographical headpieces, initials, italic and roman type, a small woodworm on the inside margin of a few quires, not affecting the text, light marginal damp stains, contemporary full parchment binding, small gaps on the spine and covers, some stains.
Specialist Notes
A good copy of the edition edited by Tommaso Porcacchi, printed in Treviso by Zanetti and complete with the Author's Life , edited by Remigio Fiorentino. Part II contains " the last four books " of the Historia .
