Rome, printed by Lazzari Varese, 1685. In folio. Woodcut initials and friezes. The volume is accompanied by numerous copper engravings, some double, some half-page, and some repeated. The engravings show a series of beautiful views of Rome at the end of the 17th century, along with Meyer's urban planning proposals. The drawing of the Piazza del Popolo is by Vanvitelli, while the others are mostly by Meyer, who is listed as an engraver along with Falda, Wouters, Blondeau, B. de Ballin, and Collin. Full parchment binding, smooth spine. Bookplate on the inside cover. Light browning and restorations, pencil marks, and marginal tears.
