partially veneered in tortoiseshell, the upper band decorated with a gilded frieze embossed with scrolls, surmounted by an eagle between gilded metal pinnacles.
Band dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, two-train movement with hour and half-hour chimes, the embossed and engraved leaf scroll dial is inscribed "Nicolaus Magri fecit Panormi" (defects, restorations and replacements, eagle not pertinent)
Lot accompanied by expertise for the turtle
