Specialist Notes
Stingel's first artist's book (Instructions) dates back to 1989, a decalogue of instructions, precisely, to allow readers to create a painting "à la Stingel", following a very detailed procedure. Yet, the originality of the work remains the prerogative of the artist, the sole holder of technique and idea. An extremely rare conceptual object, the catalogue represents the first monographic publication on Stingel. Printed by Nava web srl Milan, 1989.
