Paris, Pierre Lecuire, 1954. In 4°. 330 x 250 mm. ESEMPLARE UNICO di questa prima edizione che contiene 17 poesie-balletto, illustrate con 20 incisioni originali a piena pagina in nero, di cui 3 a doppia pagina. In questo caso si tratta dell'esemplare numero 1 di testa "sur Japon Imperial" contenente una suite di acqueforti su vergé ancien applicate sui diversi fogli. Si tratta con tutta probabilità dell'esemplare di testa, di prova, come si evince anche dal fatto che due acqueforti recano la scritta "mauvaux planche", la 5bis Gouttes e la 6, Chateau d'Amphitrite.
Queste tavole costituiscono la quasi totalità dell'opera incisa del pittore, che ne ha composte solo 23 in tutto.
